Immortals (Tarsem Singh, 2011)

Director Tarsem Singh (The Cell) and the producers of 300 presents... Immortals. If 300 and Clash of the Titans (the new version) would have a child --- you have this film! Hoping that there is no Spartacus-type story telling - Henry Cavill stars as the greek hero Theseus and battles with imprisoned the titans. The film also starts, Frieda Pinto, Mickey Rourke, and John Hurt.

Cowboys and Aliens (Jon Favreau, 2011)

Cowboys and Aliens hits theaters in July as the director of Iron Man, Jon Favreau, infuses classic western genre with extraterrestrials prepared to take over the Earth. Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde stars with Paul Dano and Sam Rockwell.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes (Rupert Wyatt, 2011)

20th Century Fox adds up its "Apes" franchise with a twist (in a prequel approach) in the upcoming Rise of the Planet of the Apes due August this year. James Franco and Frieda Pinto stars in this tale of apes being genetically experimented to improve intelligence but somehow causes a huge war between the species. British director Rupert Wyatt directs.
