Peter Jackson directs this fantasy thriller --- The Lovely Bones. This is Jackson's first film after the success of his King Kong remake. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, and newcomer Saoirse Ronan (Atonement).This is a story about Susie, a girl who's been murdered by their neighbor (Stanley Tucci). She observes her family in this "Heavenlike" place, as they grieve to their daughter's tragic death. Susie then discovers another plot of the killer to do the same crime again, thus seeks for a perfect solution to balance revenge and to provide justice to her family's loss.
Film will be due on 2010...
